This is the end...

Hi to everyone who see my blog!

This post maybe would be the last one, just maybe. So I need to tell you how was my experience doing this, because I had never did something like this, well in the past I wrote a journal in English, but I just wrote three or four pages ¬¬ so it doesn’t count.

I have to say that this activity in the beginning I just did it because I was obliged to do it, but the blogs’ idea started to turn it in something that I like to do and I don’t think it was bored; actually it was a great opportunity to learn how to make a phrase and more vocabulary.

I really enjoy the time that I spend in this activity; I love to share my opinion with my classmates and read their ones, with this I knew people that I never talk, so I never heard what they think about different kinds of topics and I discovered that our opinions are very similar.

This tool was a good idea to learn English; it was funniest, because all of us have something to say, making it easier than other tools to learn.

I hope that all of my classmates have enjoyed this blogger experience like me, and learn more English, because it is a language very important for our develop in the future, and because it is a nice language.

My ideal job!

Hi everyone who see my blog!

Today I am going to talk to you about my ideal job. Truly I don’t have a specific one, but I will try to imagine in what kind of job I would feel good.

My ideal job maybe would be one which doesn’t exist because there I wouldn’t have a boss =D I would be my own boss and my employees… mm … No! I wouldn’t have ones, just partners.

In my ideal job I would do things for the people’s well-being, knowing the people's reality and what they need for their develop, so the kind of job I want to do will be approach in the society, to resolve their problems with efficient measures and not just for a while.

For a social job I will need to learn how to run my ideas and propose, because to manage the future of the people’s future it isn’t a game.

I will be good in this job because I always feel worried about the problems of our world, when I say this I don’t just talk about the people’s well-being, I think also in the world care.

It isn’t difficult to find, we just have to look for a little and we will find a lot of anonymous groups which work without an economic interest.

Well that’s it! I hope do what I want, and never loose my hope.

A Cristóbal's blog review

Hi there!

Today I am going to do a review about classmate’s blog; he would be Cristóbal “turrón” especially the post about his favorite piece of technology entitled “My favorite piece of technology”, he chose his car, because it makes him more independent than the people who don’t have a car and it gives him autonomy. I think a car is too unnecessary when it doesn’t is “familiar” because a personal car at our age just make us more lazy, because we have the public transport. Ok!! I know how awful is this, but I think to walk is very good for us. I don’t like contaminate just for contaminate, and a car doesn’t contaminate only with pollution, it does it with noise and traffic.

In general I think the Cristóbal’s blog is a little ugly, because it is too untidy, so when I see his blog I don’t feel motivated to spend time there ( Sorry!), but I have to say that I also think that your opinions have many things that I agree, and it in general are right…

That’s it!

Hi everyone!

Today I heard a Sir Ken robinson talking about education, and the topic was..."School Kills Cretivity".

He said that the actual education limit our faculties of creation and focus on the practise subjects.

I am totaly agree with him, because I always believe that, not only the eduacation also society, have a bad idea of creative careers like theater, dance, music, etc. Because this are not profitable,and we think that these are just for to suffer misfortune.

Many people see the creativity just like a hobby, even when they have talent or flair to develop it. And if they will decide to do this hobby a real work their environment say them "Are you sure?" or "Do you know how difficult is that live?", they never said "Congratulations!" or "I will see you on Broadway"...just a word to encourage them.

I think that the creativity in our lifes make it more easy to going and we don't just think in how hard is our life.

So I agree with a school revolution!

The dark Chilean politicians

I don’t have a good opinion of the Chilean politics because I think that there are many people, for not to say all, who just are there for their own benefit and they don’t have a real interest on the Chilean people.

So I will change all of these politics, who are in the power just for the power… and money. I would replace for young people, because as a young we fight for our ideals, and these are stronger than the old politicians, because their ideals were corrupt for the long time that they have been in the power.

I don’t believe in any politicians, I don’t have a favorite one… but I have to say that I don’t hate politic, just the people who make it.

If my idea would be done I think many people, people who really do things for the progress of our country, would be interested in to take part in the Chilean politics and the people who was disappointed for who represented their angry in the dictatorship maybe could believe in the “democracy”.

Hi everyone!
This new post will be dedicated to my best friend.

My all life’s friend is my cousin, her name is Vicky and we have the same age, but she born 6 months before me =D. With her I have share all my life, because we always were together through the years.

We are a little different because she is more extrovert than me, and I love it, because I think we are the perfect mix. xP However we had a lot things in common when we are teenagers jaja, because I always fallow her with the music and different things, but the most important thing that we have in common is that we LOVE each other. =)

I love her because she is a very nice person, and just because she is my half, Vicky always is there when I need her.

The things we do together …mm… To LIVE! Yeah! We share our lives like nobody, and for this I have to thank to my family for to be so closer.

When we are children we fallen out, because she didn’t like that I played with her toys, but we never fight for long time and with a big argument.

I choose Incubus Again

When I turn on my notebook the first page that I see is my e-mail (www.hotmail.com), but it isn't mean that is my favorite. Actually I don’t have a favorite page, because I don’t like to spend my time on inet.

If I have to choose a web site I will choose www.incubusonline.com, one of the most popular incubus's site, but not the official one.

I found this site when I started to like this band, because I was looking for information and downloaded their shows. I found these things on the mess board.

I visit this page not really often, just when I have space in my computer to downloaded music and when I want to see the last pictures. lol

On the mess board I read what the people think about different topics, and they write in English, so I practice this language and know more about incubus.

The Soundtrack of my life...Incubus

My favorite song? It is a hard decision to choose one song, especially when I have a favorite band and I like all their songs.

My favorite band is Incubus and all their songs are my favorites, because every one of them sends messages that I agree, and I always found a song to each time of my life.

In this moment the song that is playing now is “Crowded Elevator”, because this song represents how I feel now, what I am thinking and what I want.

I don’t remember the first time I listened this song, maybe was in 2004 when I became an Incubus’s fan. =P

This song wasn’t recorded in any Incubus’s album, but it was the soundtrack of “Scream 3”, but I have never seen this movie because this kind of movies scary me. n_n

I wasn’t hearing this song many time ago, because I don’t use the computer where I had it.

Well, “Crowded Elevator” is the song for this time of my life, but all the Incubus’s songs all my favorite (I had to tell you over and over again).

Idiot Box

Hi everybody!
When I think in technology the first word to come to my head is

“Computer”.

I know that this object isn’t the newest in this area, but I believe that it is last one important for our lives.

I’ve been used it more time than I have not. Because I grew up with this, however this one didn’t have all the tools that it have now.

The first computer I had was a machine which I didn’t understand, and it didn’t have something interesting for me, because I was to child and prefer my innocent games. =D

When I grew up and my responsibilities changed of eat all my food to be a good student ¬¬, so I had to do good works, and for this I always looked up to Encarta =P. Now I used to look up information but not from Encarta, because all of us have a lot page where to choose. Also for to communicate with my friends and boyfriend, search music I like, to read news on line, well I do a lot things in the computer.

Ok! You read this and think that I spend all day in this machine, but noo!! Because always get bored easily. Anyway, I like very much this machine because it lend me the best service, it give me all what I search, information, music, pictures and the best part, it keep me in contact with my friends.

In every house are one of this machines, this one has occupied an important place in our lives because all we don’t now; we found it in internet, the most important tool which bring us a computer.

However I don’t feel that without this piece of technology we can’t survive. It just made our task easier than in the past, it replaced slowness.

Maybe the word would be better…

Me professional

Hi everybody!
This day I will talk about my career, Public Managment.
I am studying this because I think it would give me more tools than others careers for my personal develop and for the things I want to do in the future.
My career is destined to the people's well-being, and give us the knowledge to work for this. So a prossional in this area have to work for the nation, doing researchs, knowing the people's reality and what they need for their develop.
So we need to learn how we can run our proposals, ideas, etc. To know what of those are good for the aim we set.
In this momment I didn't have a favourite subject, but it isn't mean that I don't like my career, it's just now i feel a little disappointed of this world and now I don't like anything.
But If I have to choose, I will choose Administrative Theory.

My trip

In my holidays of this year I made my first trip far away from my home, I went to Perú. This experience was so important for me, because I really had to learn do all by myself, but the people who went with me helped me a lot, they were three clasemates (valentina, arturo and alejandro) and my boydfriend.

Well, to pick a photo was so difficult, but I chose this one, more beautiful than any landscape, because it's about the real people.

It was taken in Uros's Island, in Lake Titicaca Puno, Perú. This islands are made by the people who live there, they use the totora plant to make it.

In the picture appears from left to right, Félix, our host and friend, Alejandro,Valentina, Roger, Sebastian, Me and... I don't remember her name because it was weird, but she has the sweetest smile that I've ever seen.

The girl lent us the typical clothes. We were so happy when she asked if we wanted to dress like them.

The man who took this picture was a tourist, so we didn' t know his name.

I appreciate what Félix and his family did for us, and I'll return there like we promise.

First floor

My name is Paulina Araya, but the people who know me call me Pola. I'm twenty years old, I live in Huechuraba with my parents and sisters, but I hope in the future to live far away from Santiago.

I like a lot to learn english because I think is a nice language and easy to going.

I would like to finish this semester speaking more fluent and understand when someone next to me is talking in english.
